衡星的小宇宙

人生就像一个摩天轮,坐在某个包厢的我们时高时低,就像人生的起落。 当人生遇上了低潮,只要坚持不放弃,等待时机的出现,总会有机会再攀上高峰。

This is a trip that I have planned for more than 1 month, which I thought it will be another failure but we made it!!! In my memory, this is my third time visit Malacca...first time with family during chinese new year and second time with friends for a 3D2N trip.

Today, we are having a one day trip....a makan trip!!! We are actually eat from beginning till the end, gonna talk about the food later. Sad story come....we are damn bad luck here! First, when we reach Taman Mini ASEAN, it's under construction...then lunch time we went to the restaurant didn't open in noon(I get wrong info from web)....and we are forced to went to another one restaurant which we found it's closed down later...ughhhh!!! This is not the worst, after we came out from our lunch restaurant, a saman is waiting us on the car front mirror!!!

We eat, walk, eat, walk, eat....jonker street....pahlawan megamall...pasar malam!!! We missed the Taman Mini Asean and malacca river cruise as well...haiz~ but food satisfy me a lot!

this is our breakfast....which is not within my planned schedule...
an accident due to the renovation of Taman Mini ASEAN
Hee Kiaw is a type of noodle which you can only found in Malacca
Hee Kiaw is actually mean for fish paste...and I guess the orange colour and some white colour are the special fish paste....which I don't think it's tasty...just taste like a very ordinary soup noodle
compared to the Ho Hee noodle that I ate in Ipoh, Perak...this is certainly incomparable!!!
Popiah....I have not much comment on this as I am not having this...
but I can smell a very strong lard fragance from it....its special!!

Today is the birthday eve of mine
Miss Connie bake this butter cake for me!!! So touched~ I love her very muchie!!
thanks to my friends which spent the day with me...and pass 12 in the car on the way back to KL....
thank for their birthday song and wishes!!!

After breakfast, nothing much to do since we all have actually visited all the historical places in Malacca
....so eat and walk...enjoy!!!!
The most enjoyable shopping place -- Jonker Street but with a super hot weather...I sweat a lot!!!
luckily I put on sun block at an earlier time, otherwise I will become a chocolate girl!!!!

the first venue in Jonker Street is Ssn Shu Gong, a shop selling all local food products
and furnished with air-conditioner!!!! Cool air here!!!

we are attracted by the decorations here...
what are you waiting for??!! Camwhore~~~

guys are utilising their cool-ness or gay-ness?? haha
as you can see, they are so brave that pour the testing products
all by themselves till the promoter show them *black* face

Vivian was getting a pair of couple shirt for herself and her boy friend
other were just camwhore around

randomly took all around the jonker street area

randomly took all around the jonker street area

all these were the interesting stuff that we found here!!!
Orang Utan House which is actually an art gallery
chopstick with your surname on it
glass-bottled soft drink which hard to see it now
and so many other funny cute thingssss

in such a hot weather, of course we would like to have some cold dessert
This shop named Jonker 88 which lined up with a lot of people outside
you just choose and grab your pick of dessert, then go into the restaurant
inside is squeeze with damn lot people and we are forced to stand and eat
too bad...my stomach problem do not allow me to have cold dessert!

this is the famous cendol selling here

stand and eat~ a new experience
and I am the one who didn't eat, so take the responsibility of taking photo of them

waited for so long only I can have my lunch...after we met two closed shops
Restoran Ee Ji Ban which sold this famous Malacca chicken rice ball
the chicken is so ordinary and incomparable with the bean sprout chicken in Ipoh
but the chicken rice ball taste much better than those I ate before
at least it's a compact rice ball

came out from our lunch and we found this unwanted surprise -- SAMAN!!!

our next destination is Dataran Pahlawan Melaka Megamall
enjoying the air-cond is feeling great!
nothing much to do here...and our target is the mill crepe cake
searching all around for Nadeje Cafe....
finally found it with a long queue and original flavour sold out!!!
just wait to get a seat and these 3 fella went to take photos around

the japanese mill crepe cake
we ordered 5 pieces of different flavours and shared it
it's actually disappointed me as I thought it will be very delicious...
but I feel like just eating cream and layer of skin...
totally can't get the taste of *cakeness*

after finished the cake we sat there for long time
having a rest after tiring walk

新味香沙爹屋
normally we can just get chicken satay....but we found pork satay here!!!
pork is my favourite and this taste very delicious served with it satay sauce that rich with peanut~
yummy~~~!!!

next stop eat again!!! Haha...we were eating non-stop!!!
This is another special dish we found here....Cheese Bihun~
don't ever thought that it's thick cheese but it's actually taste quite similar with the fish head noodle
very appetising sauce!!!

You can't miss this in Malacca on weekend
pasar malam session at Jonker Street

batang ice with assorted flavour
RM 1 per stick

special snack I found here!!!
one potato being sliced but didn't separate it
you can served this with cheese, salt, mayonnaise, black pepper, chili, curry...
I chose cheese but I regret, I should have choose salt!

this is Cindy's favourite snack
I don't really like sweet thing, especially this is super sweet!

Another special again!!!
hotdog wrapped with waffle and served with mayonnaise
and cheese inside the hotdog
such a perfect match!!!

it's start to rain but just tiny drop of rain
we don't wanna miss such a wonderful night market so we walked with our umbrellas
I guess we are crazy XD
and we found a nice park which we camwhore quite lot!!!

our last meal here would be the well-known satay celup
Capitol Satay Celup is super duper famous with long queue and they do not have any branch
the only one in Malacca!!!
we have queue for about one hour only we get seated to enjoy the food!

I have eat for quite long but found out later I actually only ate 8 sticks...LOL!

Last but not least....thank x100000 to the GPS owner which help
us reach those places that we wanted to go
we all are so tired after the whole day of trip...
and like vivian said: " 4 or 5 more hours we will had played for one whole day 24 hours!"
WOW~

This is the last day of our trip. All tired and sleep till don't wanna wake up. The person who wake up the latest and cause us late till Mick come up to the room find us is EDWARD!!! He sleep till like a pig...don't willing to wake up. The rent car already been returned yesterday, so today we all 8 people have to squeeze into one Spectra car...mission impossible...but we did it...haha! The time already 11am, so we having the chicken rice as our breakfast.

65 rice ball + 1 chicken
Next, we continue visting the historical heritage scene that we failed to finish on the first day due to the rainy day. We also cam whore a lot...wakaka~

St Paul Church on the hill...have to climb so many stairs to reach here

coming down from that little hill

posing a lot at the stairs...hehe =x

After that, we move on to the Museum Samudera, which is a big ship museum. It's nice to see the big ship's structure, but it's bored to see those historical thing inside....haha~

After Alex' friend, Daniel come with his car, finally we no need to squeeze in one car. We are moving to the Jonker street. Before we have a walk, the weather was really terribly hot, so we sat down and had a cold cendol.

keep posing with the Museum Samudera ticket

After walk around at the Jonker Street, we all bought some handmade mee go home. Time already late, so we decided to eat our last meal faster and go home. We solve our last meal in Malacca by having the Nyonya food. It's actually quite same with the normal dishes that we have, not much different and special.

taufu

Nyonya famous -- ayam ponteh

The day was raining and the bus is moving slowly than normal, took 2 hour++ to reach Puduraya. We all have been so tired and all slept in the bus. The sky already dark when we reach Puduraya. Say bye bye to Cindy and Chun Heng, we took LRT back to Sri Petaling and dad comes fetch me.
